I was waiting on a sale price for the US-4x4, when I managed to snag a US-16x08 on an MF Stupid Deal of the Day for $200. I don't know why I didn't find them before, but the page I found via the support section only had drivers for 10.8.Considering the following from the Avid d/l page, it seems clear that: a) the Win7 driver will NOT work under Win10, and b) they're not going to do anything about it, presumably due to the legacy nature of the hardware. So I removed the driver (manually) from my Mac Pro, and the Fast Track started working again. At the same time, I got a new MacBook Air, on which the Fast Track worked just fine. I updated my Mac Pro from Mountain Lion to Mavericks, and my Fast Track stopped working. This package contains the files needed for installing the M-AUDIO Fast Track USB driver. So updating and then removing should switch back to OS X's driver. It seems that the vendor driver does not work under Mavericks, but OS X's own driver works (somewhat). Regarding the Installation/Deinstallation suggestion above:
